Work With Me

work with me

Hiya! My name is Martina Grossi, I’m the founder and content creator of The Global Curious Travel Expat Blog.

I created this site 2 years ago to help budget-minded travelers and future expats around the globe get ahead and achieve their goals!

The idea of becoming an international traveler or an expat naturally raises many questions about planning, costs, options, types of travel, etc. After 6.5 years of being an expat and a traveler entitled to legally live in 3 continents, and having visited 30 countries, I decided to open the gates and start sharing some of the things I’ve learned along the way.

In the meantime, I began to learn about advanced SEO content optimization, became a trained copywriter –AWAI Verified™-, and started learning and applying affiliate marketing. The combination of these things has given me an edge in a highly competitive niche such as travel.

My goal is to provide valuable and useful content to the people that come across the content I create. It’s been quite the learning curve, but blogging and helping others plan and hit the road have allowed me to become a full-time freelance content creator -while I escalate my blog, and travel the world 5 months a year!

“Martina wrote an informative and entertaining article about Christchurch for our website. She was professional and efficient, and was very easy to work with. Plus the photography that supported the article was fantastic. Her writing was an excellent addition to ThePlanetD and her Christchurch guide is helpful resource for our readers”. – Dave and Deb, The Planet D.

How we can collaborate

My services are divided into 2 separate tiers but both have travel at the core. I create SEO content for travel websites -buying guides, personal experiences and trip-planning resources-, and also collaborate with brands associated with my affiliate networks.

SEO-powered content -a key for success

Showing up in Google’s SERPs gives any website the benefit of traffic and exposure but above all, it gives projects the best chance to grow and succeed. There are many sides to SEO but a combination of targeted content written to specific keywords can be an extremely powerful strategy. But then, a different challenge arises: to create content that’s not only optimized, but is easy to read, engaging, and focuses on the benefits your company and/or project provides. Lucky you, this is my jam! I write buying guides, share personal travel experiences, and in-depth trip-planning resources.

“Martina has contributed to several of World Nomads’ Insider guides, as well as being a guest on our podcast. As the producer of our Argentina Insider’s Guide, I found her a joy to work with, and was able to put her great advice to use during my own personal trip to Buenos Aires.” – Ellen Hall, Editorial Producer, World Nomads

Affiliate marketing and brand partnerships

Affiliate marketing is a great way to help people sort their travel needs -from booking to purchasing travel essentials, and more! I’m a big fan of great planning as it makes life easier once on the road, hence I’m happy to share and promote products and services I believe will have a positive impact on people’s lives.

I’ve recently partnered with the companies I’ve been using to plan my own travels for the last 10 years, and I’m looking to bring more on board as I build my site’s content.

Although The Global Curious is just taking off, a variety of articles are ranking on the first page of the SERPs as the blog’s exposure grows on Google.
